Just to avoid the impression that there is any kind of move imminent:
- It is not clear what the 'best tool' for NetBSD (or pkgsrc) would be
- getting a clean translation of the repo is going to be significant work
- there is a lot of automation that would need to be rewritten
The latter point alone would eat approx a month full-time.
Short of shutting down the project for 6 months, there would need to be
transition period methods, too. Take that into account when speculating :)
