On a similar note, I cannot enable ALTQ [1] (either PF or altqd) on my NetBSD-5 gateway as kernel doesn't appear to release associated mbufs as seen with netstat -m. For some reason, ALTQ on ath(4) kills the box in about a day whereas ALTQ on pppoe(4) takes a little longer. Without ALTQ the box runs pretty flawlessly.
