Re: 5.1_RC4 test hang and perl5 configure core dump



I noticed I had other problems like:

host: _lwp_ctl: Memory fault (core dumped) 

I had a mismatched system:

I realized I didn't really overwrite the install (my mistake), but the 
postinstall cleanup on / did work.

So my problems are caused by running RC4 kernel with RC3 userland that I 
did a etcupdate and postinstall fix on. I am surprised that etcupdate 
and postinstall would have anything to do (since I was really doing a 
upgrade from RC3 to RC3!). And I am surprised that I would have this 
problem by using a slightly newer kernel.
