It wouldn't be the first time tmpfs turned out to be borked. But it's
odd, because assuming the copy of unzip that's failing is roughly the
same as the one in pkgsrc (not necessarily safe, I know) it looks like
the only way to get that message and the trace you saw is for either
stat() to fail in libc or open() to fail in libc before actually
making a system call. Neither of these sounds reasonable even for
Linux...
