It *can* be HW, so I gave little hard time for HW while I was gone:
evbarm# while true; do echo dd .. ; dd if=/dev/rld0a bs=64k | md5; done
...
Not a single md5 error (or panic). ~50GB of data was read from slow
2GB SD card.
I'll try stress test my system further using pkgsrc/memtester and
pkgsrc/ramspeed to make myself more confident about HW.
And I'll also try different power supply.
