Re: dhcpcd provokes panic with custom kernel?
Following changes discussed in this thread:
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/current-users/2017/01/04/msg030774.html
configuring the network interface (wm0) with dhcpcd no longer panics my
custom kernel.
My Lemote YeeLoong, booted from NFS, froze while updating the fontconfig
cache, but completed startup on a second attempt. Updating the SD-card
root somehow managed to succeed on the first attempt and a subsequent
boot from local disk successfully configured "rtk0" with dhcpcd.
Likewise, updating the installation on an external SATA disk via a
USB-SATA adapter succeeded on the first attempt and a subsequent boot
from that disk successfully configured "rtk0" with dhcpcd.
