Mediatek 7601U wireless chip porting

Hi There,

I have started to work on porting OpenBSD's mtw driver as a study project.

I could create the skeleton of the driver which compiles now and gets the hardware info. I think I would keep on working if possible.

As far as I can estimate the work would take a couple of monts for me if ever feasible.

Is anybody working on the same driver?
Has anybody tried it so far? 
Is there any known hard limitation which blocks the porting to NetBSD?
