Recommendations for NetBSD laptop with external display

So, I'm looking for NetBSD laptop recommendations (and have a possible
offer to ship a machine to anyone wanting to help improve display
support :)

I'm currently running NetBSD on a ThinkPad T480.

The T480 was a very good machine in 2018, but it's i7-8550U is
definitely lacking in the power department compared to more recent
options (being a low power 'U' is also a big factor)

I need a NetBSD laptop which supports at least one external monitor.
I'm largely indifferent to video performance (It mostly runs IntelliJ
IDEA), and have a preference for ThinkPads.

As far as I can tell NetBSD doesn't support the Intel Iris Xe in more
recent T14 Thinkpad models, and on machines with the split
Intel/Nvidia Optimus display chipset the Intel can only drive the
internal display (and nouveau does not play well).

I'm happy to arrange shipping a suitable ThinkPad to someone
interested in working on improving nouveau or Intel Iris Xe support,
or if anyone has alternate suggestions....maybe a USB display adapter?
