Well, I too thought I would give a try at installing MacBSD to see how far
it would get (and see how easy/difficult the installation would be...I
must say, it was much less painful than I thought it was going to be.) Using
either the netbsd.ci or the netbsd.nofpu and the mmost recient booter, I
also got the seven gray horizontal bars before crashing...
My great thanks to the people working on this port! I hope it's as close to
being working on my IIci as some people have made it sound. I would be
a REALLY happy person if I could have a real version of UNIX running on
my Mac...(Without, of course, having to give more money to Apple. Bleah.)
Oh, by the way, in case it matters. This is a IIci with an Xceed 128k cache
card and 8 megs of RAM, using the internal video...
