I have a friend who is an AVID Linux junkie (Intel of Course) who was
conversing with one of the members of the PPC team about its status.
I do, however, need to correct that statement: It is READY to be
released as alpha. I spoke to my friend again and confirmed this.
I know nothing (other than what my friend tells me) about Linux or its
development cycle. I'll talk to my friend again to see if he'll give me
an email address for this person to see if you confirm it for yourself.
More is FORTHCOMING...
