Can you send me the output of a "disklabel sd0" from before you start
X?  Also the output from "df -i" since your first message is "out of
inodes."

To lose these messages, do "startx > x.out 2>&1" (assuming bash ;-).

Ugh.  Very poor behavior--it smells like a corrupted filesystem, but you
shouldn't have one of those...  Is it running fsck when it boots?
