Hello;
Now that I have macbsd1.0 up and running. I'd like to back it up onto my
tape drive. Unfortunatly when i attempt to tar up my filesystem to tape
(in single user mode) i get this error "tar: can't write to /dev/rst0 :
operation not supported by device" . Here is the information I get upon
bootup about the drive:
targ 3 lun0: <ARCHIVE Python 25501-0092.18> SCSI2 squential removable
st0 at scsibus0: density code 0x13, 512-byte blocks, write-enabled
I did a MAKEDEV st0 so all the proper devices are there. Can anyone help
me out here?
Thanks
Andrew
