Hi,
I downloaded Allen's new X package, and tried with the SE/30 internal
video, but when I try to run xinit (or xmkmf, the other program I
tried), ld.so prints the following error message:
>>>
ld.so: warning: libm.so.0.0: minor version >= 1 expected, using it anyway
ld.so: Undefined symbol "__sys_errlist" in X:X
xinit: Undefined error: 0 (error 0): unexpected signal 2
>>>
Xinit stopped but didn't exit, so I interrupted; hence "signal 2".
I searched for __sys_errlist in /usr/lib/lib* files but there is only
"_sys_errlist". ... It just occurred to me, as I'm writing this, that
maybe it is a bad thing that I made symlinks to /usr/X11R6/lib/* files
in /usr/lib ? I'll see what happens if I copy X lib files into
/usr/lib.
I appreciate any help.
Ken
