I just got myself a new HD so I thought I'd install MacBSD and try
and learn a little about administrating unix.

Mac IIcx
8MB of Ram
200MB Root&User (FWB Formatted)
16MB Swap

After installation it came up first time and away I went....

I do get a message regularly..
        Warning  crypt(3) not present in the system

Does this only mean I haven't installed the security archive (which
I know)?


My other problem:
I was attempting to dial in SL/IP using the HOWTO doc.

After a 'cu -l /dev/tty00 -s 19200'
I get a connected message, only when I try to type in anything I get...
'cu: write: Input/Output error'
'Disconnect'

Someone would like to shed some light on this?


oh, how much disk pace does the X distribution take up?
