What accelerator cards are known to work with MacBSD? I have a IIcx,
and it would be nice to be able to speed the thing up (I've been
doing quite a lot of compiling recently, and it's not exactly a fast
process on my machine...).
I'm particularly interested in one of the Daystar '040 boards - can
MacBSD work with them?
Does the on-board cache still have to be disabled? If so, how much
speed improvement does an accelerator card really give? - given that
this means that all memory access have to be done at the clock speed of
the machine (16MHz in my case).
thanks,
david
