Yup.  I used to turn on VM when I wanted to use SML/NJ for Mac because
it wanted at least 12M memory and all I got was 8M.  After playing
with SML/NJ, I tend to forget rebooting the machine with VM turned
off, and MacBSD booter gets busted if I try.
