Hi fellow MacBSD users,

An unofficial MacBSD kernel with my *EXPERIMENTAL* Logitech TrackMan
support is available.  All 3 buttons work under X on my SE/30 with 20M
RAM and no PDS cards.

Although it is known to work only with TrackMan, I encourage all users
to try it out to see whether or not it works with Logitech's other
mice (such as MouseMan), and whether or not it breaks with other
manufacturers' multi-button mice (such as Kensington Thinking Mouse,
Animas MacPro, etc).  The Apple standard mouse and MicroSpeed Mac
Mouse Deluxe work as single-button mice with this kernel (that's as
far as I can check).

Needless to say, there is NO GUARANTEE of any kind.

The files are netbsd.062095-LOGITECH.tar.gz and README.LOGITECH in
ftp://puma.bevd.blacksburg.va.us/pub/incoming/ (this directory is
unreadable to anonymous users, so be careful not to make typos when
you download them).  PLEASE READ _README.LOGITECH_ before you use this
kernel.

This kernel is based on the current source as of June 20th.  Its
config file is slightly modified from PUMA (increased number of ptys
and added option LOGITECH).

I appreciate it very much if you could put the word "netbsd-logitech"
somewhere in the subject so that I can use procmail to sort out mails
