Hi

I'm in the process of putting together a web page (or set of pages) that
try to counteract some of the myths that have grown up around FreeBSD.
You can see a (very early) snapshot of it at

After posting this to the FreeBSD-Advocacy mailing list, it was suggested
that most (if not all) the myths aren't specific to FreeBSD, but are 
common to NetBSD and OpenBSD as well.

I'm more than happy to 'rebrand' this information so it encompasses all
the free *BSD implementations.

I would be grateful if anyone who is interested would take a look at
that URL, let me know what you think (either to this address or to
nik@freebsd.org) and, if possible, either suggest other myths that you
think are appropriate, or help flesh out the 'Reality' sections for the
existing myths.

Wes Peters over at DaemonNews (<URL:http://www.daemonnews.org/>) suggested
that this is also the sort of content they are looking for.
