I'm really starting to believe in alternate universes here.  You see:

1) There's the universe in which Curt Sampson wrote the words `you're
   spouting complete rubbish here' or `a technically brilliant
   arsehole' or `please learn to read', and other such choice bits.
   Those words are clearly not intended to be `nice' or even
   productive.

2) There's the universe in which Curt Sampson is a nice guy, just
   trying to help.

Unfortunately, I live in the universe behind door #1.
