Wasabi Opens Series A Funding

Wasabi Systems Inc., New York, received $2 million in its Series A round of financing. Newlight Associates led the round with a $1.5 million commitment. The company said it expects additional investments over the next 60 days. Wasabi (www.wasabisystems.com) is a developer of products and support for the NetBSD operating system.
