However, on their website they don't offer any Power systems with Linux,
they all come with AIX 5L, that has a Linux emulation layer.

Someone posted a while back that they were doing just that. Porting NetBSD
to OS/390 running on Hercules, a 390 emulator that runs on UNIX.
