I thought that FreeBSD only ran on single processor
Alpha machines? Maybe I'm wrong...

The shell server I use (sdf.lonestar.org, huge Alpha
machines) have been testing SMP NetBSD code and I
think they are just about ready to deploy it, or so I
heard about a month ago.
