I can't get LaTeX to accept this as input file, you rely on some
defaults by not setting a document class, that seem to be different in
our installation.

I've attached a diff for some minor corrections. Please review them
before applying.

The tense in the sentence about NetBSD's founding is dictated by English
grammar, although, of course, NetBSD is still at the top ;)
