I dunno.  It's certainly true that most users of the SVR4 codebase are
using Solaris, Irix, HP-UX or such, and don't know that `SVR5' came out.
It's also true that most users of the BSD4.4 codebase are using
Net/Free/OpenBSD, and couldn't tell you what the latest release of BSDI
is.

It's not clear what this tells us about how `important' System V is.  It
is clear that if we have nothing better to do in the year _2003_ than
rehash tired old BSD vs. SVR4 flames, we're all a bunch of pathetic old
farts...
