Subject: NetBSD at CCCamp
hello,
here some Information about the BSD Project at the Camp:
There would be a BSD-Village (thats the name which was last discussed)
at the Camp. The BSD Projects will rent a big tent (about 80 sqm) for
hacking and a smaller tent (about 50sqm) for sleeping.
The big tent will have a wooden floor and tables. So we hope dust and
dirt will be reduced for man and maschines.
The costs (which results of renting the tents, tables, ...) would be
paid from previous incomings of selling CDs, T-Shirt, Books, ....
The main part will be paid from OpenBSD, because most of the presents
BSD people would be from OpenBSD(Wim Vandeputte). NetBSD and FreeBSD
will spent less money.
Myself tries to manage the NetBSD part at the Camp. From Hubert Feyrer
we will get some Books, T-Shirts, and other promoting things. Up to now
Stefan Schuhmacher and Christian Kraus will help me by organising and
running the things at the Camp. Any others are welcome.
for all which will come, please register at the CCC Website and tell via
email if you are coming. It's very important to know how many people
will come for planing things!
so far - so long,
Daniel 'DaN' Ettle
