Hi,
on October, 29th 2005 the third Linux-Info-Tag[1] will take place in
Dresden, Germany. The event aims to be a platform for OpenSource
technologies, focused mostly on the GNU/Linux operating system.
Almost 1000 visitors joined us on each of the two past events.
As in the years before also this year there will be a lot of
interesting talks and booths from established OpenSource projects.
The Linux-Info-Tag will be surrounded by an attractive social
event program[2].
Last year there was also a BSD-Booth for the first time. Members
of the local BSD-Crew demonstrated NetBSD and FreeBSD on different
Platforms, answered questions of newbies and gave some help for
people who had already taken the step forward to BSD ;-)
If someone is interested in supporting the BSD-Crew Dresden for
this event, please contact matthias.petermann@bsd-crew.de . For
details regarding the BSD-Crew please consult our Website[3] and
of course our Wiki[4].
You can also join out live chat via the CCC Dresden Silcnet.
(Server: silc.dresden.ccc.de Channel: bsd-crew)
Best regards
Matthias
