Don't be deceived by this.
Many countries support concept of "fair dealing" or "fair use" which
generally involves how much is copied, the purpose (like research,
teaching, and news reporting), and the effect (will it affect the original
work?).[1]

p.s. On a related note, in a 600+ page book I am publishing it includes
some copies of documentation for a total of less than 2 pages. (This is
from about four different sources.) I am not contacting anyone to receive
permission nor including their copyrights or reuse licenses. The book
clearly identifies where the short content is from. Standard fair use (or
"fair dealing") laws are adequate.
