I think we should all thank OBATA Akio for doing such a great job in
fixing our open pkg PRs.
The Package of the Month award goes to antixls (pkgsrc/math/antixls),
nominated by Daniel Carosone. Dan writes:
Microsoft Excel has a mindbogglingly annoying habit of
changing the binary content of .xls files, even when just
opening the file to look at the content, and even when telling
it to open the file "Read Only"! When tracking binary .xls
files under revision control, this can result in a lot of
spurious conflicts. Hooking antixls into the monotone VCS as
an external diff helper does a wonderful job of identifying
such content-free changes. (Convincing users to store files
in another format that allowed easier merging of legitimate
changes hasn't been so successful).
