note that my opinion on the exact contents of the '-r' string are
still up in the air.  It makes a bit more sense without the "NetBSD",
and i think i'm going to change it to be that way, even though
(as i've said before) for configuration scripts, it should not matter.

Note, however, that uname -v is _not_ going to change; it is
appropriate and "correct" as is.
