I am running the Jul 20 1.0-ALPHA release (everything rebuilt from
source including the kernel) and XFree86 v2.0 (static). I have built
(again, from source) xlispstat and ghostscript. My problem is that
neither of these X clients will run unless I am root. /dev/vga has
been corrected to be go=rw and /dev/tty00 is also set to those perms
because that is where the mouse is attached. I get a segmentation
fault on either of these when I try to run. Nearest I have come with
the debugger is that the segmentation fault happens in _DYNAMIC() in
xlispstat. I haven't had time yet to compile these with -g yet.
Anyone have a fix? Is this a known problem? Am I missing something here?
