The rules I learned say that it depends on how you pronounce "fstab".
If you pronounce it as I do, eff-ess-tab, it calls for "an". If not,
well, it depends on how you _do_ pronounce it. "file-sys-tab", for
example, would call for "a" rather than "an".
Perhaps this belongs on alt.usage.english or something rather than
netbsd-bugs? :-)
