>Description:
It appears that IP multiast reception on the hp300 platform doesn't
work. I have recently compiled up a version of "imm", and it doesn't
receive any multicast packets where my i486 box running NetBSD does
receive them.
However, if I run tcpdump on the hp300 box, the application does
receive the multicast packets. I conclude that there must be some
bug in the ethernet driver which prevents the IP multicast packets
from being received. (I suppose the IP multicast modifications
have been performed on the ethernet driver...)
>How-To-Repeat:
Run imm and see that no packets are being received unless tcpdump
is being run on the same host.
>Fix:
Unknown at this point. From browsing the code it would seem that
this was supposed to work...
