>Description:

After turning a terminal (or a modem off) init tries again and again to
respawn a getty on the line. This is *NOT* happening if you add that
device to /etc/ttys but never connect anything to the interface.
Up to here this is a known bug.
Since I got the changes of September 21. the driver doesn't recognize it
anymore if the terminal is turned off while someone is logged in. As it was
working before and I neither changed the cable nor the terminal settings
I have to assume that someone introduced a bug into the driver.
This is especially nerving on a modem line...

>How-To-Repeat:

Just turn your terminal off.

>Fix:

none.
