It's not interesting at all.  It's completely, utterly boring.  mv(1)
is trying to preserve the group, but it can't, because it can't
chgrp(2) the copy of the file to that group, because `news' isn't a
member of that group.  If you ran mv(1) as root, or if `news' was in
group `wheel', then it wouldn't complain.
