Are there any known problems with the Adaptec 1542 controller on
NetBSD-1.0?  I have tried two different controlles (a 1542B and a
1542C/FC) in the same computer, using a 1033MB Fujitsu drive.  The
entire disk is being used as the NetBSD partition.  Often, when I boot
up, I get bizzarre filesystem errors.  The general complain is about a
"non-media failure".  This is the i386 release of NetBSD-1.0 on
ftp.iastate.edu.
