>Description:
Some conf files don't mention UNION. In particular no sparc conf files
have any mention of it (which prompted me to ask the obvious dumb
question on NetBSD-help as to how to enable union mounts :)
I'm submitting this to port-sparc as thats what I use most, but it
applies to just every port...
>How-To-Repeat:
>Fix:
(Note: all following paths are rooted from /src/sys)
The following GENERIC conf files should probably have
options UNION # union file system
added - even if it is commented out. Just so people know how to
enable union mounts!
sparc/conf/GENERIC
sparc/conf/GENERIC_SCSI3
alpha/conf/GENERIC
amiga/conf/GENERIC
atari/conf/GENERIC
pc532/conf/GENERIC_O
pc532/conf/GENERIC_OF
pc532/conf/GENERIC_RD
pc532/conf/GENERIC_RF
pc532/conf/GENERIC_Z
pc532/conf/GENERIC_ZF
pmax/conf/GENERIC.pmax
(From here on its me just finishing what I started for the sheer hell
of it, but I guess it hurts noone to have this extra stuff here even
if noone could be bothered to do it :)
If you want to run in -pedant mode then some of the conf files that
_do_ mention it have different comments or no comments at all.
(Give me a break, I did an egrep for UNION to find out where it
was mentioned & picked up these :)
The following files could have their UNION line changed to match
the others. (Yeah, its only in the comments...Ok, ok, I was bored)
hp300/conf/DUALITY:options UNION
hp300/conf/GENERIC:options UNION # Union filesystem
mac68k/conf/OCELOT:options UNION # Union filesystem
vax/conf/EVERYTHING:options UNION
And if its a _really_ rainy day someone could add the UNION line
commented out to these.
