>Release: NetBSD-current i386 binary snapshot of May 15, 1995
>Environment:
System: NetBSD araneus.pp.fi 1.0A NetBSD 1.0A (GUANO) #0: Fri Jun 16 16:31:43 EET DST 1995 gson@araneus.pp.fi:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GUANO i386
>Description:
/usr/bin/more strips the eighth bit of the displayed
text. This makes it unusable for displaying text files
containing ISO Latin 1 -encoded national characters.
>How-To-Repeat:
Attempt to display a file containing 8-bit text using
"more".
>Fix:
Since the NetBSD "more" is actually "less", and newer,
8-bit clean versions of "less" exist, one way to fix the
problem is to integrate one of those.
