>Description:
The system locks up and responds to no keypress (except the 3 fingered
salute) some times (not all the time) when using 'more' to read a
file. Usually the file has control characters in it. Upon reboot,
reading the file is fine. Obviously, this is a serious problem.
I have a direct serial line connection to the computer as well. The
user on this serial line gets locked up as well, so it is the entire
	computer, not just the user.

>How-To-Repeat:
As stated above, it is sporadic (which makes little sense), however,
it seems more prolific if the systems has been up for a while (say,
more than a day). The use of 'more' on a text file that has some
control characters in it. A copy of such a file can be sent if
requested. The last such 'freezeup' occured when trying to format
some of the Elm guide pages, in particular, the Users.guide file.
The command entered to format was
	tbl Users.guide | nroff -man tmac.n - > /tmp/test
afterwhich, a 'more /tmp/test' was performed. After scrolling down
several pages, a few control characters were received, and the
	system locked up completly.
