Hmm.... toggling that line in and out of the config reliably generates
the above messages.... even with full re-builds (i.e. after rm -rf of
the compile directory). I've a worse problem than this though, so I'll
let you pursue it if you're interested. I had only wanted to get rid of
those options as they are not necessary on this firewall machine. (My
current problem has to do with the mi_switch() panic when connecting to
another host's virtual interface in a different IP network but the same
ethernet -- SunOS-4 and BSDI-1.1 have no problem in the same environ.)

Oops. Silly me. I was using a src tree that wasn't entirely virgin. I
guess the someone I got the tree from created the SCSI file, changing
the filename in the RCS Id, but not changing any other information
there! :-(
