i have a kernel w/o COMPAT_10, using pccons.
it won't compile with -Werror due to an unused variable

remove COMPAT_10.
compile an i386 kernel

apply this to /sys/arch/i386/isa/pccons.c:
(I think this is the change - I did it at home, I'm now at
work. This patch is from memory :)
