>Description:
Mats o Janssons's mopd package is in the NetBSD source tree. This is
great for booting NetBSD on vaxes or perhaps even PDP-11s or
Decservers. However, it doesn't support the ECOFF format needed for
DECstations.
This is a serious limitation for NetBSD, since some revisions of
DECstation PROMs are buggy and cannot successfully boot via
bootp/tftp.
>How-To-Repeat:
Not relevant.
>Fix:
Add code to mopd to grok ECOFF-format kernel images, as does the
Ultrix mop implementation. I can work on this but I'd need some
advice on the internals of mopd.
