>Release:        NetBSD-current 15 Aug 1997
>Environment:
	Multiple systems including various PowerBooks and Duos, II-series
	machines with Carrera040 accelerators, and some LC/Performa models,
	running all versions of NetBSD to date.
System: NetBSD netbsd1 1.2A NetBSD 1.2A (HOMEWORLD) #1: Wed Aug 28 23:29:37 PDT 1996 thorpej@netbsd1:/local/NetBSD/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/HOMEWORLD i386

>Description:
	Machines affected by the problem all hang after doing basic console
	initialization but before setting up the MMU and enabling it.
	With extra debugging messages enabled, he last message printed is
	usually:

		Video address 0x(M) -> 0x(N)

	(where (M) and (N) are the previous and new VA).

>How-To-Repeat:
	Try to boot one of the affected systems. Sometimes, booting with
	a serial console `cures' the problem.

>Fix:
	None available, but may be related to the use of the TT0 register
	on 030-based machines.
