System: NetBSD broccoli.emsi.priv.at 1.2G NetBSD 1.2G (BROCCOLI) #9: Tue Aug 26 20:38:43 CEST 1997 root@broccoli.emsi.priv.at:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/BROCCOLI i386
>Description:
Build a kernel with the PS/2 driver. As soon as the device
is probed/attached, the keyboard locks up, rendering the machine
pretty useless.
Under XFree86 3.2, the keyboard will work again for a short
time. After frobbing the mouse a couple of times, it will also
freeze the keyboard.
The same problem existed under 1.2.1 but the system was usable
under X, which is no longer the case.
It does not matter whether one uses pccons or pcvt.
>How-To-Repeat:
See above. Booting a kernel with pms support is sufficient.
