System: NetBSD cyberlap 1.3_BETA NetBSD 1.3_BETA (CYBERLAP) #15: Thu Dec 11 22:37:48 MET 1997 frueauf@cyberlap:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/CYBERLAP i386
>Description:
/etc/mtree/BSD.x11.dist wants a user "man" which does not exist by default,
thus if you try to install pkgsrc/graphics/xpm it fails, cause mtree
is not able to `chown man`.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try to install e.g. pkgsrc/graphics/xpm.
>Fix:
Either introduce user "man" to /src/etc/master.passwd or remove the
"uname=man" lines in /src/etc/mtree/BSD.x11.dist, which the following
patch does:
*** BSD.x11.dist Tue Dec 2 17:11:06 1997
--- /etc/mtree/BSD.x11.dist Tue Dec 16 16:30:15 1997
