>Release: NetBSD 980306
>Environment:

>Description:
pax is unable to correctly unpack files that tar can handle.
Since pax is used to unpack the files in pkgsrc/distfiles
	many packages cannot be built.
>How-To-Repeat:
	cd pkgsrc/x11/asclock
	make fetch
	pax -zrf ../distfiles/asclock.tgz
	pax will now say
pax: End of archive volume 1 reached

ATTENTION! pax archive volume change required.
		Ready for archive volume: 2
Input archive name or "." to quit pax.
		Archive name >
You can unpack with tar instead and it works just fine.
>Fix:
	I've not looked into it.
