Actually, I don't intend to incorporate a hack like this into libg++: the
method it uses of building PLISTs is not just because of the difference
between a.out and ELF. I wrote that pkg specifically to take advantage of
/etc/mk.conf (building/installing profiled, PIC, shared, static libraries
only as requested) and your case doesn't care for all the possibilities of
those combinations. The method libg++ uses cares for all incantations of
mk.conf, a.out. ELF, and non-shlib platforms. I will be updating rsaref to
do the same, as it also uses a <bsd.lib.mk> build method.
