(this is -current as of this morning's sup)
>Description:
dnsquery(1)'s SEE ALSO section includes a reference to
resolver(5), which doesn't exist. (It has other problems too,
such as not using .Xr and .Pa and .Aq, but since bind isn't
ours, "fixing" these may be considered gratuitous introduction
of diffs which would need to be rolled forward with every new
release we import.)
>How-To-Repeat:
"man dnsquery", read the SEE ALSO section, "man 5 resolver" and
notice it doesn't work.
>Fix:
Something like s/resolver(5)/resolver(3)/, probably. I haven't
done diffs because I don't know whether the person who imports
bind would rather just do that or change it to use .Xr or what.
I note that usr.sbin/named/man includes a resolver.5 as well as
a resolver.3, but those manpages aren't installed as far as I
can tell - we seem to be using the resolver.3 from lib/libc/net
instead.
Alternatively, s/resolver(5)/resolv.conf(5)/; the resolver.5 in
the man/ subdirectory is documentation for resolv.conf, and we
do have a resolv.conf(5) - which includes a SEE ALSO reference
to resolver(3).
