>Description:
When I attempt to shut down my IBM ThinkPad 365XD using "halt -q", it
invariably panics during the shutdown process. Although "halt -q" is
supposed to be an "ungraceful" shutdown, I don't think it is supposed
to be quite this ungraceful.
