>Release: NetBSD-1.3.2 CD 12-May-1998
>Environment:
pmax NetBSD-1.3.2 sysinst
System: netbsd 1.3.2 pmax
>Description:
sysinst will not install from CD-ROM. Specifying the CD-ROM device
as rzXc wins the message "cannot find installation sets kern.tgz and
base.tgz on rzXc". (X is, of course, the correct SCSI ID for the
CD-ROM drive.) I've only paraphrased the message here; unfortunately,
I did not make an exact note of the error.
>How-To-Repeat:
Drive sysinst to the point where it gives you a menu of choices for
installation method, which includes installation via FTP, via CD,
and a number of others. Select the CD installation method and then
specify rzXc as your CD device.
>Fix:
sysinst may be mis-issuing the mount command. ???
