System: NetBSD jekyll.piermont.com 1.3H NetBSD 1.3H (JEKYLL) #0: Sat Oct 17 23:50:46 EDT 1998 perry@jekyll.piermont.com:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/JEKYLL i386
>Description:
Our install systems fail to run "newaliases" during
install. This results in lots of odd error messages from sendmail
caused by the lack of any aliases database files.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install a machine, note that there is no /etc/aliases.db
>Fix:
There are two ways to handle this: have the install systems
run newaliases, or have sendmail autorebuild the aliases file. The
latter seems frowned upon these days, for whatever reason.
